Day of women
The concept of women as a better or worse part of humanity, depending on individual judgment, has long stirred up mental premises about the purpose of their existence. Too often, women's purpose for existence is connected with the continuation of human existence or the continuation of the human species and performing the lowest tasks in the house, which were otherwise performed by slaves or lowly valued workers.
We too often associate all other women's purposes in society with the Age of Enlightenment, when women began to demand an equal position in society, or the equalization of their position in society with men.
By examining the historical position of women in society, we can conclude that women's rights in society have repeatedly risen and then fallen again. The position of women in the history of humanity has fluctuated from queen to slave on all continents.
Women's Day, as an established holiday of economic, political and social independence from men, was first celebrated on March 8 in socialist countries, as the entire struggle of women for equality with men in society is still associated with socialist movements in the world. Today, more than 100 countries celebrate March 8 as Women's Day. International Women's Day on March 8 has been celebrated since 1907, when the October Revolution in Russia also took place.
However, Women's Day or the day of equality between women and men cannot be fully established, as there are lobbies on both the male and female sides that prove that the gender distribution of positions in society is much better.
The first reason in favor of the inequality of positions in society is very often the care of children, or the well-being of children, despite today's established educational institutions. This care of children should continue to be the domain of women as emotional beings, not professional, expert work. This is also evidenced by the very low use of paternity or parental leave, which is only slowly and with difficulty being implemented. Expert opinions on the constant presence of one parent at home, who is constantly available to the child, are also divided. Some argue that such a child will satisfy his or her emotional needs and will not be emotionally numb and distant or cold without emotions. Others argue that such a child will be too spoiled.
Nowadays, housework is mentioned a little less as purely female work. Many societies have included technical and home economics classes in primary school education, regardless of the gender of the student. Thus, men are also said to be in decline as home craftsmen.
Women's economic independence also too often causes problems in our everyday lives. Women are supposed to be educated according to their potential, be employed, have their own income and assets and, of course, freely dispose of them and also exercise themselves in the social environment. Men are also said to be slowly disappearing as the breadwinner of the family. And of course, men are supposed to disappear as the sole bearers of social activities, except for charity.
In short, women, as a weak, uneducated, economically dependent part of society, who should stick to their husband's or father's home, are supposed to be in the decline of social thinking. Although we must admit that gender equality is a subject of debate again and again in almost every society.
