Clothes make the man
Our modern perception of modern society is based on the ideas of personal freedom and empathy for others. Above all, we have the idea that our society is based on tolerance for difference. Such ideas about our society are strongly contradictory to the principle of society that a person is judged according to the style or lack of style of clothing and that the old saying appears in society again: "The clothes make the man."
We have known about crime in ties or white-collar crime for a very long time in the history of mankind. We have certainly known about crime in the highest strata of society for as long as the crime of poverty or crime in the lowest strata and also about difference. But we certainly encounter crime or criminals in one way or another in clothes. At least we should know about it. The principle of putting on clothes and killing people and stealing and breaking and violating others' fundamental human rights and freedoms should be unacceptable, just like the crime of the worst and/or cheapest dressed.
Because of this, we will again have to think about our life values and norms and principles according to which we walk through life and also build relationships with other members of our society.
Our way of dressing is supposed to be our personal matter or a matter of our freedoms and rights. In fact, we do not have a law that would determine the way of dressing or the correct style of dressing. We can safely say that in the case of judgments of people, based on their clothing or appearance, it is a so-called extrajudicial prosecution of difference. You will not achieve a conviction in court for a different style of dressing. At least I hope so. But perhaps that is precisely why some people give such convictions behind our backs or on the street, and more recently also on social networks.
Otherwise, through fashion, which is also not legalized, they try to somehow project their fashion style into our brains, which means the current view of the correct style of dressing. In this way, they try to push individuals into oblivion of their own style according to their desires and needs.
Of course, fashion designers do not bear the lion's share of the blame, as they are also known for their differences in fashion trends. In short and more simply, each fashion designer is said to have his own style. In stores, however, it is difficult to find the so-called eternal "classics".
The way we dress has changed throughout human history. From the time when we were still naked or half-naked, through the period when we dressed in the skin of killed animals, to the invention of looms and the production of cloth and to today's fashion industry.
And yet, negative remarks about individual clothes or ways of dressing or hairstyles are again appearing in our society. It seems that we have problems with people who would like to dress everyone in their uniforms and style or completely stylize other people, most likely in their own image.
Individualism is thus supposed to replace the generally socially recognized "image", which, however, has behind the scenes the dictates of a self-proclaimed elite that cannot stand difference. Maybe he also wants clones like himself in his society, or they are simply aggressive sellers of a certain brand. Everyone is different, people who strive for the principle that clothes make the man are usually subjected to public lynching and thus prosecution, which is not legalized, or has no legal basis.
So we only have and are developing a big social problem, that we have people in society who are not made by personal culture, but simply by clothes. We can only hope that the historical period when it was indecent to even wash and only perfume and powder were decent does not resurface. Namely, in this period, even in the highest strata of society, infectious diseases ate lives due to the ineptitude of the entire society, including the powerful in money and society, but not in personal hygiene.
