Energy spoilage or not

People have slowly become accustomed to industrialization and of course all the further developments and inventions. We have become accustomed to electric lighting and of course also refrigerators, air conditioning, washing machines, etc., and in short, a new standard of life. We have also become accustomed to a peaceful everyday life and just observing life in a state of war, which does not only mean shelling.

Let's forget that there is no electricity in a state of war. Maybe today's power outages will at least remind us a little of what a peaceful life brings us. For us, it is a real disaster that there will be no lighting for a while. The real disaster is that some shops are not open because there is no electricity. We cannot cook because there is no electricity. For those who have electric heating, the office or living space is already a little cold. We can also hope that the refrigerators in the shop and in our homes will withstand some time without electricity. Of course, we cannot use telecommunications services that require electricity. Even more likely to feel the power outage are those in modern smart homes and modern smart business premises, including hospitals.

Those who are more resourceful or also outdated or poor or those in a state of war, are anyway spared such electrical spoilage. Maybe they still use or use candles for lighting or a modern battery-powered lamp. Maybe they still heat their rooms with old wood stoves and have their rooms heated, although it is already difficult to find business premises with so-called classic heating. It is even more difficult to find business premises with the old way of paper business. Maybe their phones also have charged batteries. And it is very good if they have generators.

Of course, they should only be exposed to this power outage for a short time until a normal power supply is established and normal modern everyday life returns. And of course, such a power outage will only serve as a warning to us of what the threat of war or a state of war or general poverty can bring us, when we are so comfortably spoiled and accustomed to a professional, uninterrupted supply of electricity. And so we can once again debate the advantages and disadvantages of so-called modern everyday life.
